Hand-Selected to Share Marketing Insights with the Prime Minister of Canada
Shayah was chosen by the Chamber of Commerce to attend an intimate 2-hour closed door meeting with the Prime Minister of Canada and 11 other business owners to discuss economic growth in Canada. Shayah was selected to represent women-owned businesses and share her insight on how design and marketing will help support small business growth in Ontario.

Hi, I’m Shayah - Founder of Virtuwell Balance
In 2016, after experiencing burnout from my career in health information management, I took a six-month sabbatical to travel to to India. I immersed myself in a Yoga Teacher Training that sparked a passion for wellness and holistic living.
This experience was so transformative that, upon my return, it inspired me to become certified in Holistic Nutrition and combine these powerful healing modalities (of yoga and nutrition) into my own service offerings and leave my career at the hospital behind. To my surprise, I really enjoyed the design and marketing side of running a private practice and was able to apply some of my marketing education from college.

In 2019, I felt an intuitive nudge to support other health practitioners struggling with misaligned branding, outdated websites, and ineffective marketing, to ensure their digital presence attracts their ideal clients and supports their practice growth.
I couldn't keep up with the number of practitioners who wanted to work 1:1 with me - this is how our agency was born!
In 2019, I founded Virtuwell Balance - a holistic design and marketing agency committed to transforming the digital presence of health practitioners with a mindful, strategic approach.

Since opening our doors, we’ve been privileged to partner with over 500 clients, including some featured on CNN, Yahoo and Thrive Global.
Our dedicated team is a small group of women who bring empathy and expertise to every project. We take pride in offering a personalized, hands-on service to every client – making sure that each client’s digital presence is as authentic and professional as their practice.
